Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer in our St. Louis (Ballwin) office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing tasks or coordinating projects of moderate size and complexity, makes decisions independently, receives supervision and guidance largely on overall objectives and results
  • Contributing and maintaining Project Management Plans (PMP), updating Procedures, Instructions and Forms (PIFs) within Amec Foster Wheeler's Quality Management System
  • Maintaining consistency in project documentation for format and content, including editing and proofreading documents
  • Scheduling and attending meetings, and generating minutes of meetings
  • Preparing spreadsheet(s) and maintaining databases and logs, as required by the project
  • Coordinating project related matters between internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate current and target clients based on market research, identified funding sources and CRM data
  • Track, evaluate and analyze production work
  • Communicate with Project Managers to establish, monitor and update project schedules and personnel assignments
  • Recognizes and initiates business development opportunities.

Skills / Qualifications

  • BS Civil Engineering or Engineering Management degree or related
  • MS Civil Engineering or Engineering Management degree highly preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience with BS and 4 + years with MS
  • Ability to coordinate several high-priority deadlines simultaneously
  • Aptitude to exercise foresight as well as good business judgment to anticipate and solve problems with minimal oversight
  • Excellent organizational & prioritizing skills with the ability to multitask and work under the pressure of constant deadlines
  • Exhibit an extremely high level of professionalism and superior attention to detail
  • Exceptional client relations and customer service skills
  • Able to demonstrate sense of initiative and ownership
  • Experience marketing municipal clients, MoDOT, and / or IDOT projects preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare reports and proposals
  • Ability and willingness develop business from new and existing clients
  • Must pass drug test, physical, and background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy
