The D.WRE Board Certification is the highest level of advanced post-license certification offered in the water resources engineering profession for professional engineers (P.E.) and is an accredited certification program by the Council of Engineering & Scientific Specialty Boards.
BENEFITS OF DIPLOMATE, WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER BOARD CERTIFICATION:
AAWRE launched the Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) Board Certification program in October 2004 to adhere to ASCE’s Policy 465- to broaden and deepen the body of knowledge for practicing engineers and to ‘elevate the standards’ in civil engineering.
DIPLOMATE: A Diplomate (Diplo-mate) is a professional engineer who has attained certification as a board certified specialist in the field of water resources engineering with advanced education, advanced experience and expertise, and body of knowledge.
