Mr. Davis lived and worked in Oregon the last 20 years or so, in which he worked for Oregon based firms, the Northwest Engineers, Emerio Design Services, CIDA, LDC Design Group, Newton Consultants, and Westlake Consultants. Prior to working and living in Oregon, Clinton worked as an engineer for various firms and companies in California, Massachusetts, and Colorado.
Clinton received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado (1970) and received Graduate studies at Oregon State University in Forest Engineering (1992-1994). He was a life-long member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Public Works Association and was a licensed Professional Engineer in Oregon, California, Massachusetts, and Maine.
Mr. Davis’ volunteer activities over the years included playing the piano for CYT children's theater productions, soccer coaching, and serving with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization. He was also a member of the Architectural Committee of his homeowners association at the time of his untimely death.
Clinton was a beloved and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife Nancy, whom he married in 1976; daughters Anne and Patricia; his brother John of Cleveland, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy Davis:
“Clint was a man of integrity, who always gave his very best to the engineering profession. When we would go on vacations, it was always educational, as Clint would share his knowledge with our family explaining how certain engineering marvels worked. He loved music and was an accomplished pianist. He also enjoyed reading, gardening, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family. In addition, he cared about people, the engineering profession, this world we live in, and truly enjoyed life.”
